Wally’s Bet Set Photos

While creating my stop-motion LEGO film Leave it to Beaver: Wally’s Bet, I built this scale model of the Cleaver house at 211 Pine Street. Here are some photos I took of the house (before I totally destroyed it).

The second floor is detachable, allowing a view of the first. I eliminated certain small rooms (such as closets, the laundry room, etc.) and warped the proportions of others in order to ease construction and filming. Only some of the rooms pictured below actually appear in the film.

While filming Wally’s Bet, I was constantly destroying and rebuilding chunks of wall, to make room for the camera. When I get around to making the sequel, I’ll build the house with walls that can easily be removed. Anyway, for comparison, here is an actual floor plan of the Cleaver house:
